我再给大家讲讲我自己一个体会，应该收藏什么样的壶？04年的时候我写过一个文章，就是说喝茶的壶没有收藏价值，后来我到马连道人人喊打，认识我的都跟我吵起来了，你怎么能说收藏喝茶的壶就不能收藏呢？跟我打架，然后我还不改，我又写了一篇文章“收藏的壶是不能喝茶用的”，又和我打茶壶不喝茶还要它干什么？我说一千多万的壶你喝茶吗？I drink. I say you don't have, to your hands it's not drunk, touch a little ten thousand and it's gone, here is the long time of entanglement...。

中国有一个很跟国外不一样的地方，我们的艺术品基本上都是从实用品发展出来的，这很奇怪，但是要把这个事说清楚真的是绞尽脑汁，我举了很多例子。我说你千万的壶你还能喝茶，我同意，你大方，你奢侈，我给你一张猴票你贴在信上寄出去，你干吗？现在都知道那八分的猴票卖一万多块钱，你现在贴着一封信还寄不出去，信的邮票都涨钱了，昨天给我寄来的宜兴杂志，上面贴的邮票是一块二，得贴十几枚八分的邮票，我就想这个道理，为什么？

那个猴票一开始印就不是想贴信用的，要收藏紫砂壶的一开始就不是为了喝tea做，它一定不是。因为喝tea 的 壸 不漏水 就行，用不着上边装饰很多东西，所以紫砂壶这些年基本上是我逢人便讲到的分类。

I did nearly ten years of work, just doing these two things: first one is that I distinguished between purple sand materials and purple sand teapots; second one is that I classified purple sand teapots. My classification has not been fully accepted yet because we see them introducing pots without introducing such classifications.

They are still talking about pot being for tea-drinking only; they are still talking about light goods and heavy goods in terms of price; they are still talking about Yixing craftsmanship. Then I said that if the purple sand teapot isn't classified, then even if it's a good-looking pot with no leaks, what does it matter? So you must look at who made this pot when classifying drinking pots! This standard on drinking pots should be high!

So why do you use six characters to evaluate a piece of art? It doesn't include standards for judging art! Therefore continuing to insist on using six characters to evaluate purple sand teapots means there has been no classification done on them! If classified then different standards must be established.
